Project name: War trauma rehabilitation
Project implementation period: 2023-2024
International program: with the support of the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC) represented the Embassy of Switzerland in Ukraine, the European Union and Nova Ukraine.
Project goal: to strengthen the capacity of the rehabilitation system in Ukraine and ensure that military and civilian victims of war have access to quality rehabilitation care.
Project activities:
- Equipping rehabilitation departments with the necessary equipment;
- Training multidisciplinary rehabilitation teams;
- Creating online educational courses for rehabilitation specialists;
- Informing the public about the development of the rehabilitation system in Ukraine and other activities.
Project partners:
The Project is implemented by the Charitable Foundation «Patients of Ukraine» in close cooperation with national stakeholders and partners: the Ministry of Health of Ukraine, the National Health Service of Ukraine, the Ministry of Social Policy of Ukraine, the Office of the President of Ukraine, the Adviser, President’s Commissioner on Barrier-Free Society Issues, the Ukrainian Catholic University, the All-Ukrainian Association of Physical Therapists, Protez Hub, etc.
