Іn March 16-21, the Ukrainian Junior Weightlifting Championship was held in Khust. Viktoriya Tkachenko, a student of the Ivan Boberskyi Lviv State University of Physical Culture, in the weight category up to 64 kg, successfully performed the snatch (66 kg) and the clean and jerk (79 kg). The total weight of the event – 145 kg allowed her to receive the title of «Master of Sports of Ukraine» and take 5th place.
We would like to remind you that this academic year, our student received the title of “National Category Judge” in weightlifting for fulfilling the judging requirements. Viktoriia Tkachenko is coached by Oleksandr Tovstonoh, associate professor of the Athletics Department.
