Ukraine is a member of the most important conventions on the equivalence of documents confirming qualifications and academic titles – the Hague Convention and the Lisbon Convention.
Together with Ukraine, 44 European countries have signed the Lisbon Convention. Subsequently, Australia, Israel, Kazakhstan, Canada, and the United States joined the Convention.
The countries that are parties to the Lisbon Convention must recognize the educational documents of citizens of other countries. According to the convention, the European Network of Academic Recognition Centers (ENIC – NARIC Network) was established, which operates in 55 countries, as it also applies to those in the UNESCO region, which helps to speed up the procedure for recognizing diplomas.
Ukraine is a signatory to the Hague Convention, which has now been successfully implemented in 124 countries. Thanks to it, our country has an easier way to certify official documents.
The only formal requirement is the APOSTILLE, an international stamp that confirms the authenticity and legality of a particular document. It can be affixed directly to the document or issued as an appendix, and its validity is the same as that of the document itself.
A Ukrainian diploma of education with an apostille on the original does not require any additional formalities or certifications. It can be used in any country that is a party to the Hague Convention.
For countries that are not parties to the Lisbon and Hague Conventions, the Ministry of Education of Ukraine and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine affix legalization, which confirms the authenticity of documents for further recognition.
Graduates of the University successfully recognize diplomas in different countries of the world, such as: the European Union, the USA, Canada, Israel, Turkey, Egypt, Qatar, India, Pakistan, Morocco and other countries.
