The 2025 Ukrainian Championship in Adult Acrobatics took place in Vinnytsia for six days, from March 12 to 17. 124 athletes from seven regions of Ukraine – national teams of six regions and the city of Kyiv – took part in the competition. The Lviv region team was represented by six teams, two of which were students and graduates of the Gymnastics Department of the Ivan Boberskyi Lviv State University of Physical Culture.
The absolute champions of Ukraine for the eighth time were Honored Masters of Sports, Masters of Sports of International Class, members of the national team of Ukraine – the men’s group consisting of a fourth-year student of the Pedagogical Education Faculty Yurii Savka and graduates Yurii Push, Taras Yarush and Stanislav Kukurudz (in the photo above – on the first step of the podium). The coaches of the champions – Honored Coaches of Ukraine Konstiantyn Kukurudz (teacher of the Gymnastics Department of our university), Angela Boiko and Halyna Benko. The second and third places were taken by acrobats from Vinnytsia region and the city of Kyiv (in the photo above – on the second and third steps of the podium, respectively). The men’s group took first places in both the all-around and in the two final exercises – balance and dynamic, leaving behind the quartets from Vinnytsia and Kyiv in second and third places.
In the mixed pairs competition, the fifth place in the all-around was taken by a Lviv duo consisting of fourth-year students of our higher education institution, candidates for masters of sports Anastasiia Hrynko and Bohdan Pyshkovych (pictured above), who study at the faculties of pedagogical education and physical education and sports, respectively. The acrobats are trained by teachers of the gymnastics department – Honored Worker of Physical Education and Sports, Associate Professor Alina Senytsia, and senior teachers Mykhailo Senytsia and Iryna Kokot.
We should add that the mixed pair Anastasiia Hrynko / Bohdan Pyshkovych took fourth place in the final dynamic exercise, one step away from the medal podium, and sixth place in the final balance exercise.
It is gratifying that the absolute champions of Ukraine in the mixed pairs competition were representatives of the Lviv region, members of the Ukrainian national team, masters of sports of international class Anastasiia Semenovych and Bohdan Ivanyk from Drohobych.
In the women’s pair, the bronze medalist in the balance exercise was Polina Makieieva, a first-year student at the Pedagogical Education Faculty (in the photo above – on the third step of the podium), and her classmate Kateryna Huzhva took third place in the dynamic exercise in the women’s group (in the photo below – on the third step of the podium).
We congratulate the acrobats on their successful performance, and wish the men’s group victories at the World Cups and the European Championships in sports acrobatics.
