According to the cooperation agreement between the Ivan Boberskyi Lviv State University of Physical Culture and the Karpaty Football Club in Lviv, measures are regularly taken to examine the level of various types of fitness of young football players involved in the green-and-white training system.
On March 27, on the football field of the Lviv Professional College of Sports (director of the LPCS – Andrii Okopnyi), specialists from the educational and scientific laboratory of the football department of the Ivan Boberskyi Lviv State University of Physical Culture tested the level of physical fitness of young football players «LPCS – Carpathians U-16» (coaches – Vitalii Lobasiuk, Andrii Hurskyi) and «LPCS – Carpathians U-14» (coaches – Liubomyr Vovchuk, Roman Verhun).
One of the important tasks of the ESL of the Football Department is to provide consulting and scientific and methodological support to specialized children’s and youth sports institutions, football academies, football clubs and other organizations of a physical education and sports profile (head of the ESL of the Football Department of the Ivan Boberskyi LSUPC – Bohdan Khorkavyi).
