Orientation of the curriculum The curriculum has an applied orientation. The implementation of the program’s content is aimed at preparing a competitive specialist who is proficient in modern educational and information technologies in physical education, sports, and pedagogy, capable of creative scientific research and teaching activities, continuous self-education, and self-improvement.
Main focus of the curriculum and specializations Provision of individual professional training aimed at the development of general and professional competencies, taking into account the current trends in the development of pedagogy, psychology, physical education, and sports.
Features of the curriculum The curriculum includes courses designed and implemented based on the university’s faculty’s own fundamental research. In particular, it provides a detailed study of the experience of organizing physical education with different population groups abroad, innovative approaches to physical education for individuals with health impairments, and modern methods of organizing physical education activities during leisure time.
Employability The availability of a Master’s degree in Physical Education allows one to hold positions in business entities engaged in the following types of economic activities according to the Classification of Economic Activities State classifier 009:2010:

  • 72.20 Research and experimental development in the field of social and humanitarian sciences;
  • 85.42 Higher education;
  • 85.51 Education in the field of sports and recreation.

Further education The possibility to continue education to obtain higher education at the third (educational-scientific) level, with the opportunity to attain the first scientific degree (Doctor of Philosophy).
Assessment Current assessment is carried out in the following forms: surveys, presentations at seminars, checking individual tasks, evaluation of presentations. Final assessment is carried out in the following forms: exams and credits, defence of teaching practice, qualification exam, and defence of the qualification work.
Assessment is based on a 100-point grading scale.
